    Code in the Schools is a youth summer program in Baltimore schools that exists to expand access to computer science education. This workshop material printing project accompanies the five-week summer computer science program. The program’s mission is to focus on youth underrepresented in technology fields in order to eliminate barriers and inequities in education and industry.

    Workshop Material Printing for Code in the Schools

    This project is a unique workbook following a five-week computer science program. Students have the opportunity to work on web development, apps, and game development, all while under the mentorship of a computer science instructor. Students get a chance to work in groups, learning a new skill and have projects that simulate a real job, even visiting the sites of local businesses. This workbook includes everything from an introduction, agenda, and section for student self-evaluation – everything needed to get set up for success!
